Two Performance 2:00 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Our Harmony 4 Women Concerts will be December 7, 2013, at the Tower Theater, in Bend. We will offer matinee and evening performances along the theme, That’s What Friends Are For, and as the title suggests that song will be included in the offerings. The bonds of our groups are solid, and our goals are to Lift hearts, share harmony and inspire singers and audiences, to promote fellowship and choral education, to be an integrating (nurturing, inspiring, supporting) and educational experience, to offer a Rising Star competition platform for high school vocalists throughout Central Oregon, and to raise awareness and some funds for Grandma’s House, Bella Acappella Harmony Chorus (Bella) and Women’s Resource Center of Central Oregon (WRCCO). You will be able to tell by the enclosed news articles, that we had several younger women sing with us, one 11 yr. old from Sisters, and one high school vocalist represented Sisters High in last year’s competition. Bella takes its workshop to high school music programs throughout the area, with demonstration to raise interest in the Rising Star competition, and to promote the art of acappella harmony.
